You literally only have to roll out of your bed and you’ll land on St Mark’s Square. The best thing about the Suites Torre dell’Orologio suites is that they come in ‘family’ flavors that can accommodate two to six persons.

However the nearby Hotel Metropole scores slightly higher in guest ratings.

On top of that it has unlimited views of the Grand Canal as it opens up into the lagoon. For a two star hotel it’s quite pricey, but still a good deal cheaper than any higher starred accommodation will set you back.  It’s in the top ten of two star hotels rated by guest reviews, and we literally couldn’t find a single negative review.
